Despite a long wait - which only demonstrates its worth - our large group of 28 were accommodated and it was will worth patience.
Local HS students were bringing their prom dates - which also indicates its worth - and rightfully so because this isn't any restaurant.
The decor and atmosphere is truly unique, and the establishment has gone above and beyond to make the dining experience "not your average Mexican restaurant".
We really did enter los portales to another place with a menu expansive enough to have options, but finite enough for our entire group to be happy with their dishes.
